HS2 Ltd’s proposed routes in Yorkshire have been developed with no thought for integrating with transpennine ‘Northern Powerhouse Rail’ (NPR) routes. As a result, NPR cannot meet its own journey time specification. This catastrophic failure is exposed by HSUK’s vastly superior performance in the Northern Powerhouse region.
