Both HSUK and HS2 Ltd propose to make Euston Station their London terminal. But that’s where the similarity ends. While HS2 will expand Euston and devastate the surrounding Camden community, HSUK’s full integration with the existing network will enable most commuter services to be diverted to Crossrail; this will free up platform space for high speed services and thus avoid any need to expand Euston station.
